Autumn

Autumn

By Craig Lincoln.

Autumn kisses bestowed every day
We long for Autumn we will not delay
Embraced by nature we so desire
Cocooned inside as we sit by the fire
We spend time with Autumn in awe each day
Warmth received from the sun’s gentle rays
Beneath coloured skies we long to stay
Of Autumn’s beauty we never tire
Autumn kisses bestowed
In this time of year our spirits are gay
We rejoice with living it’s time to play
No other season do we hold higher
To Autumn other season’s all aspire
As we await them to all go away
Autumn kisses bestowed
