Innocent Toxicity

Innocent Toxicity

By Terry Foote.

What happened to the little boy
Who smiled so much

Class clown
Never a frown

Baseball cards in bicycle spokes
Created a sound like the big folks

A change in the weather
Meant playing a different sport together

Clueless to familial influences
That would be put into place

A life long battle
That I would have to face

Creating dismay
In my own special way
