Not for Everyone

Not for Everyone

By Vincent Anderson.

Art isn’t for everyone
Hell, I don’t think anyone deserves it

The work ethic you have to have, the passion in ones heart
Belief in something star bound
The distance you have to go to reach one

was it worth the effort and wait
lost love and friendships

highs and lows
that made you grow
an unfortunate past

mistake after mistake
some will break, others become great

If you haven’t traveled this road, you couldn’t relate

But if you met one, you will understand
the stakes we face, every second of this tragic life
Too much to swallow
you will never understand

About Vincent

Hello my name is Vincent Anderson, I am 22 years old, from Raleigh, NC. I’m a young, eager, motivated, self taught artist with fresh ideas. Seeking guidance and experiences, to complete my manuscript. I’m ready for new opportunities and challenges. I’ve studied literature for the past 4 to 5 years. My love and growth for knowledge has pushed me to limits I thought I would never encounter, but those same trails made me the artist I am today. And I’m here to say, there is no defeat in failure. You must take the good with the bad. And with my writings, I am freeing my body, mind and soul. Expressing myself the best way I know. Showing the world what I have to offer. Thank you, for your time and hopefully you enjoy my poetry.
