Reticence

Reticence

By Bernadette Bruster.

I always sometimes get uneasy stepping off of curbs,
and compose myself before climbing on a tour bus.
I wonder why the pause,
unless it was like that at birth:
the chill of another dimension.
They say the end is the beginning,
stepping off, or into,
all white encompassing love-peace glowing.
I feel certain that it is so,
or that piece of my heart
would have let me know.
