The Oarfish

The Oarfish

It is believed that this gruesome-looking fish could actually be the culprit spotted and known throughout history as The Loch Ness Monster.

These sea-creepers have a recorded length of thirty-six feet, and unconfirmed lengths of up to fifty-six feet, and can weigh upwards of six hundred pounds.

Imagine stumbling across this beast in canoe back before the age of the Internet? These fish are a prime example of how legends are born.
